Jeff Bezos’ led company and retail giant, Amazon is set to build a game streaming services to rival Google and Microsoft, says information report.
The service will see the company compete with Google- which currently testing Project Stream service in the US and Microsoft, which builds its own platform, hardware maker Nvidia.
The unconfirmed report, suggests that Amazon’s path makes sense, as it hailed as the largest provider of cloud computing services in the world- ahead of Google and Microsoft by a long gap.
Also, it is a good time for the new undertaking to greenlighted amid the shut down of various platforms in the past few years due to low demand and unsatisfactory performance.
Reports also said that Amazon may leverage its Prime subscription service to persuade customers to try its gaming offering.
Last April, the retail giant revealed it had more than 100 million Prime subscribers worldwide.
