Manila – Vice President Jejomar Binay might back out of the May 2016 presidential Election because of allegations of corruption and declining of SWS and Pulse Asia survey Senator Antonio Trillanes IV said
Trillanes speculated further that Binay’s withdrawal from the Election would be a “game changer” that would allow other politicians in Country to run for the highest office in the Government
A Survey taken by Social Weather Stations or SWS last March 2015 public satisfaction with Binay sinking to an all Time Low in first Quarter of the Year But the rating of +31, down from +73 in March 2014, was still considered “good”, according to SWS.
Trillanes, along with other Senators like Alan Cayetano and Aquilino Pimentel III have been holding hearings on allegations of corruption against the Vice President of The Philippines since August 2014
Meanwhile, Binay has shown no signs that he is backing out of the presidential race that he has been open about wanting to join since year 2011
