INDONESIA — The Two Strategic Sealift Vessel of The Philippine Navy Built by PT PAL Indonesia, has reached the process about 25% of all forms
According to PT PAL Indonesia Director Firmansyah Arifin that the First Ship construction entered the stage of laying the keel and entering first plate cutting process
Pt Pal Indonesia Director said to media that the company reached 25 percent on work with Philippine Ship and also the importing of equipment is reached 20 percent thats why about 80 percent of existing equipment is only needed
“Import of equipment that we need the exill be timely and November 2015 we will launch” Arifin said.
Arifin said that the 1st million dollars Warship can deliver on time in 2016 and the 2nd one is on 2017
The Philippine Navy Strategic Vessel can carry about 520 Persons and can carry 2 Naval Helicopter for Search and Rescue Operation. Maritime Patrols of Philippine Water its also has maximum speed of 16 knots.
It can also carry military Ambulance or Trucks for Relief operation.
The Philippine Strategic Sealift Vessel Was a Project of Former Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo but the bidding Process was Cancelled when Philippine President Benigno Aquino sits on Malacanang in 2010
