Gang Lords raised over 50 Million Pesos to assassinate President-Elect Rodrigo Duterte against order to kill drug dealers

Gang Lords raised over 50 Million Pesos to assassinate President-Elect Rodrigo Duterte against order to kill drug dealers

President Rodrigo Duterte’s newly appointed Police Chief, Ronald dela Rosa has revealed that drug lords detained in country’s jail raised enough money to offer as a reward for an assassination.

He stated, “I received information that drug lords currently in National Bilibid Prison (NBP) met and agreed to match the P5 million offered by Duterte per slain drug lord, and P4.9 million per arrested drug lord”.

We (Duterte and dela Rosa) will be the target. I tell them, come on down, bring it on.”, dela Rosa said and adds, “When we assume office on June 30, let’s see if you can still pay (for our assassination).”

It is believed that the threat comes after President-elect Duterte encouraged the public to join him onto his anti-crime crackdown, saying that he will give reward for anyone who can kill drug dealers.

Other officials in cities and towns around the country began paying bounties for slain suspected criminals supporting Duterte’s anti-crime rules.
