Senator Drilon to Filipino People We Cannot Join War Because our AFP is Weak

PHILIPPINES – Senate President Franklin Drilon said the Philippines should stick to a peaceful resolution about territorial dispute with China amid the latest developments involving the United States aircraft and Chinese navy ship

China’s Foreign Ministry said that it has lodged a complaint with United States over the incident but the US said it will continue sea and arial patrols in international waters include West Philippine Sea
Drilon told that the rule of law should always prevail in the dispute and the case Filed by Philippines in the United Nation Convention on the law of the sea is ongoing

Aside from the U.S Maritime Plane that shoed by Chinese navy,
Last April 2015 Armed Forces of the Philippines has accused China of committing aggressive actions by flashing powerful lights at Philippine Navy aircraft on patrol in the West Philippine Sea.

wag nyo po ituro sa mga apo mo nyan Mr. Drilon yung love of money rather than your fellow Filipino people. Di Tama yan Mr. Drilon, ika nga eh kay dating Pangulong Quezon ” kapwa tao muna bago ang sarili”. Yung sasabihin mo na “we cannot join war because we are weak”… parang sinabi mo Na wala kang ginawa sa ke tagal tagal mo sa serbisyo.

More than 1,000 Bangsamoro supporters gather at Cabili Plaza in Banggolo in the city of Marawi on the southern Philippine island of Mindanao on October 15, 2012, for a mass rally in support of the signing of a framework agreement for peace. Muslim rebels from the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) waging a four-decade insurgency in the Philippines signed a historic pact with the government on October 15 in Manila to end the conflict, but both sides warned the road to peace had only just begun. The agreement would see the establishment of a new semi-autonomous Muslim area in the resource-rich southern Philippine region of Mindanao, where the people in the region are called Bangsamoro.
